Its straight-bar geometry differs from the larger curved inserts used in other CPC backshell sizes. The insert fits inside the narrow clamping channel of a compatible backshell to provide a flat pressure surface against the cable bundle for strain relief. It features dual end-mounting holes and is marked “AMP - 2” on the top face and "3" on the bottom.
